New Subsidiary Expands in Automotive Product and Service Offerings
July 6, 2020, Muscle Shoals, AL – PROJECTXYZ, Inc. has announced the acquisition of CBC INGS America, LLC, a company providing plastic injection molding components with secondary highly specialized metal deposition and optical deposition finishing for the automotive industry.
The new entity will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of PROJECTXYZ, Inc. and is based in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Owners Kim and Larry Lewis plan to retain the existing workforce of 100+ employees and purchased the 68,000 square ft. manufacturing facility, warehouse, and state of the art equipment to expand and complement their products, services, and warehousing capabilities.
PROJECTXYZ will continue to tailor products and services to meet the demands in the automotive market as well as other strategic market pursuits and growth areas. One of the key benefits of the facility is producing large numbers of high-quality parts very quickly, with great dimensional accuracy, and low scrap rates. Equipment and leading-edge technologies the company uses to provide molds and parts to major OEM companies include stereolithography, selective laser sintering, vacuum casting, and other specialized processes.
